Flourish Connect Outreach is a charitable organisation established to promote the wellbeing of individuals and communities through support, education, connection, and outreach activities carried out for public benefit.

The organisation operates on Christian values and principles, which inform its approach to service delivery, governance, and community engagement. While faith-inspired, all activities and services are provided in an inclusive and non-discriminatory manner and are accessible to the wider public regardless of background, belief, or personal circumstances.

Flourish Connect Outreach works through structured programmes, volunteers, and partnerships to address identified social, emotional, and practical needs within communities in the United Kingdom, with an emerging international focus where appropriate and lawful.

The charity is governed by a Board of Trustees who are responsible for ensuring that the organisation operates in line with its charitable objects, delivers clear public benefit, and complies with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.

Flourish Connect Outreach (Foundation CIO) Flourish Connect Outreach exists to advance wellbeing, relieve need, and strengthen communities by supporting individuals and families to flourish spiritually, socially, and practically. Operating locally within the United Kingdom and internationally where appropriate, we deliver inclusive, faith-inspired outreach through practical support, community connection, education, and wellbeing initiatives that promote dignity, resilience, and hope for the public benefit.

Public Benefit Statement

Flourish Connect Outreach exists to provide public benefit by supporting families, children, young people, and individuals within the community, particularly those experiencing disadvantage, social exclusion, educational challenges, or additional support needs.

The charity also supports and empowers young people and children in education with beginners training courses in Graphics Design, AI Design & Cybersecurity, IT, creative skills and art & crafts.

The charity benefits the public by promoting moral and spiritual well-being, encouraging positive values, supporting individuals and families facing personal challenges, and contributing to community cohesion. It also promotes community development, Serve communities through charitable, educational, and humanitarian works. And social well-being, including the relief of poverty and support for those in need, both within the United Kingdom and internationally, particularly in African countries, in a manner consistent with Christian values.

How the organisation provides public benefit, Flourish Connect Outreach delivers benefit through:

• Community outreach programmes that support families and individuals facing social, emotional, or economic challenges.

• Support initiatives for children and young people, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), learning difficulties, or additional support requirements.

• Educational, mentoring, and life-skills activities that promote personal development, confidence, and positive life choices.

• Wellbeing, emotional support, and guidance services aimed at reducing isolation and improving mental and emotional health

• Signposting and partnership working with local services, schools, community groups, and voluntary organisations to improve access to support any private benefit is incidental and necessary to the carrying out of the charity’s purposes.

The trustees ensure that the charity’s activities are inclusive, accessible, and delivered in accordance with Charity Commission guidance on public benefit.

Statement of Faith

Flourish Connect Outreach is a Christian faith-based organisation. Our work and values are rooted in the teachings of the Bible and the life and message of Jesus Christ.

We Believe:

• In one God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, who is loving, faithful, and sovereign over all creation.

• In Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who came to earth, lived a sinless life, died for the salvation of humanity, rose again, and reigns as Lord and Saviour.

• In the Holy Scriptures as the inspired Word of God, which provide guidance for faith, conduct, and service.

• In the Holy Spirit, who empowers believers, brings spiritual growth, and equips us to live lives of love, holiness, and service.

• That salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, and is a gift from God.

• In the call to love God and love our neighbour, demonstrating compassion, justice, humility, and mercy in all that we do.

• In the importance of prayer, worship, and fellowship as central to Christian life and community.

• That every person is created in the image of God, with inherent dignity and worth, and should be treated with respect, care, and compassion.

• In the responsibility of Christians to serve others, care for the vulnerable, promote peace, and work for the wellbeing of individuals and communities.

While Flourish Connect Outreach is firmly rooted in the Christian faith, our services are delivered in a spirit of openness, respect, and inclusion, and are available to all regardless of background, belief, or circumstance.

Our Story

Flourish Connect Outreach was born out of prayer, compassion, and a deep burden to see lives transformed and communities strengthened through the love of Christ.

What began as a simple call to serve has grown into a vision to support individuals and families not only spiritually, but also socially, emotionally, and practically. We recognised that many people are facing isolation, hardship, mental health challenges, family pressures, and a lack of access to support. Flourish Connect Outreach was established to respond to these needs with faith-led action and genuine care.

Rooted in Christian values, our work is guided by the belief that every person is created with dignity, purpose, and potential. We believe true flourishing happens when people are connected—to God, to one another, and to the right support systems. Through outreach programmes, education and skills training, prayer and pastoral care, wellbeing initiatives, and community engagement, we seek to bring hope, restoration, and empowerment.

Flourish Connect Outreach operates in the United Kingdom with a growing international reach. While our foundation is Christian, our services are delivered in a spirit of openness, inclusivity, and respect, ensuring that support is accessible to all, regardless of background, culture, or belief.

Governance & Accountability

Flourish Connect Outreach is governed by a Board of Trustees who are responsible for the strategic direction, legal compliance, and effective management of the charity in accordance with its governing document and charitable objects.

The Trustees ensure that the charity operates for public benefit, complies with relevant charity law and regulatory requirements, and applies its resources responsibly and transparently. Clear policies and procedures are in place to support good governance, financial oversight, risk management, and safeguarding.

Day-to-day activities are delivered through delegated roles, volunteers, and programme teams, with appropriate supervision and reporting arrangements. The Trustees regularly review the charity’s activities, finances, and impact to ensure accountability and continuous improvement.

Flourish Connect Outreach is committed to openness, ethical conduct, and accountability to beneficiaries, supporters, partners, and regulators, and maintains appropriate records and reporting in line with Charity Commission guidance.

Trustees & Leadership Team

Flourish Connect Outreach is overseen by a Board of Trustees who have collective responsibility for the governance, strategic direction, and legal compliance of the charity. The Trustees act in the best interests of the charity and ensure that all activities are carried out in furtherance of its charitable objects and for public benefit.

The Trustees are responsible for setting strategy, overseeing financial management, managing risk, and ensuring appropriate policies and controls are in place, including safeguarding, equality and diversity, and financial accountability.

The Leadership Team supports the Trustees by managing the day-to-day delivery of the charity’s activities and programmes. Leadership roles operate under delegated authority and are accountable to the Board of Trustees through agreed reporting and oversight arrangements.

All trustees and leaders serve in accordance with the charity’s governing document and are expected to uphold high standards of integrity, accountability, and responsible stewardship.
